The Newberg High School Post Secondary Success Fair is a student-led job fair for NHS students of all grades to help them determine what career pathways are available as well as learn about strategies for personal financial success. Organized by Hadley Massey and Quentin Comus, the Success Fair included representatives from public and private universities and colleges, the military, local businesses such a Providence Newberg Hospital, job and career resource providers such as Worksource Oregon, and non-profits such as Habitat For Humanity.

Wells Fargo did sessions on personal finance and the high school’s CTE centers demonstrated CAD/CAM, machining, and other career and technical education programs. Almost all of the students in the school participated and the place was packed!  It was great to listen to the students questions of the business representatives and more than one of the job fair businesses commented on how engaged the students were.
